We understand every child needs a safe family and to have someone to call Father and Mother. All children need a permanent, healthy family where they can experience the love of a father and mother, to get their basic needs met, and to get to know their Heavenly Father.

National Movement

Our team is comprised of people from various churches and denominations. Our vision is to build Burundi Without Orphans by mobilizing every community, church leaders, businesses, government leaders, and NGO’s to work together on behalf of the vulnerable and families.

We understand every child needs a safe family and to have someone to call Father and Mother.
All children need a permanent, healthy family where they can experience the love of a father and mother, to get their basic needs met, and to get to know their Heavenly Father.

Since we started the movement:

  • Vision casting events in all regions of Burundi

  • Burundi Without Orphans Conference April 2017 (300 delegates in attendance)

  • Meetings with government and ROVF leaders in regions 

  • 205 houses have been built in the local community to provide shelter  

  • 100 children are getting support for education and basic needs

  • One child able to attend university 

  • Two children received critical medical assistance in USA

Prayer Requests and Needs: 

  • For wisdom, knowledge, revelation, discernment, and understanding for decision-making

  • For resources: finances and materials

  • For the Church to respond to Orphan Sunday

  • For healthy families to receive children into their loving homes in their communities

  • For God to facilitate connections with key people that will help to engage participants in each sphere of culture (Church, Business, Family, Government, Media, Education, Arts & Entertainment)

  • For families and communities to have sustainable ways to generate income for household

  • Community development, business startups, and agriculture and farming techniques

  • For new national agencies to help with adoptions within nation of Burundi

  • Greater access to medical treatments

  • Greater access to education for children

  • Equipping: training and preparation of families to receive children into home (ex: Trauma Care)
